    Muskoka Attractions: The Land of Lakes

     

    The Muskoka enchantment lives on. The magic charm of Muskoka leaves people spellbound. The lakes enthral, the rivers captivate and Muskoka simply fascinates. The land of lakes is 1 ½ hours away north of Toronto, Canada. The vast district of 2,500 square miles is bounded on the West by craggy Georgian Bay, the way to the Great Lakes and the Ocean. The densely inhabited area is the Muskoka Lakes Township surrounded by its gems of a lake, namely Lake Muskoka, Lake Joseph, and Lake Rosseau. At the same time, the Flavors of Muskoka continues to show “Amazing Grace” which is another great presentation from the Muskoka Music Festival. Another of Muskoka’s major landmarks is the core of cultural activities, the Gravenhurst Opera House. It is here where several distinguished musical and theatrical performances for the past 100 years were held. The cruise ship Lady Muskoka is another of Muskoka attractions claiming that it is the only way to enjoy the Muskoka tradition. This is the largest capacity cruise ship situated in the heart of Muskoka.
